this guy sort of looks like Superman, but uh. I don't know how to draw Superman and I'm having a headache, so it ain't going to look like Superman tonight. Ubermensch.

my apologies for the lesser quality of this week's drawings. I'd like to have some nice quality stuff on here soon. a lot of what I've been doing hasnt been real great. I need more practice!

so I was at work today thinking about how I don't do girly things very much. but I am still sorta girly. but I don't usually draw girly things.

No Canadian portrait tonight, although I do know who I will do. it will have to be tomorrow night though. my dad sent me some info on my grandpa, and I ended up poking around on the internet all night looking up his name and other details about him.... I might share a bit next week about that.

in the meantime, please be satisfied with this awful sketch of me at the computer in the bedroom. (I'm tired!)

so sometimes if I am stressed out or upset or feeling at all unwell, I wish I could go to a place like this. with just soft grey and soft lighting. no noises, or maybe just a hum. I guess it'd be a kind of detox. umm. I hope someday I can see a Rothko painting.

as excited as I am for the Harlow students out there this year, it's also making me miss the place a lot.
