headache. oy.

this guy sort of looks like Superman, but uh. I don't know how to draw Superman and I'm having a headache, so it ain't going to look like Superman tonight. Ubermensch.

Monday

In pasadena now. Unsure of how I will be updating the rest of this week. I was thinking about cutting this strip into one frame per day, but it's not really good enough. <_< so I guess we'll see what happens.
(also I wish I could think of things to make into small stories or strips. a;sdflkasdjf.)

Tuesday

I wanted to draw a giant head from below. spiderman is just in there as an afterthought, since she looked like MJ to me. I kinda like it.

She's getting stood up again. sad faaace.

Monday

I got a drafting table. I'm going to try to do as much of the next couple of weeks as I can in for realz drawings. luckily kenneth has a scanner!

Also: I would love to tell stories, but I feel like I have no stories to tell. anything I make up seems almost too embarrassing to share. also there's that drawing a blank thing. Any advice? anyone?

(also, bonus: I could have just left it at this. :P)

Tuesday...

I went downtown and I don't really think I was prepared. I'm still a bit off.... I really havent been around people much for the last.... oh, six months or so? still feeling pretty disconnected. Halifax is beautiful though. 

Anyway, first panel is me walking down prince street (I think the restaraunt I passed was called the Wooden Monkey). Second is me getting startled by a homeless guy. I'm not used to people on the street talking to me at all. Third is me down by the harbour. it was nice down there.

blaaah.

I think I will take Jill up on the offer to go out for lunch, possibly with Stacy also.

Canadian celebrity KATE BEATON. she's just awesome as awesome can be. you can find her witty webcomic at www.harkavagrant.com. She's a pretty shy woman, so it's difficult to find a clear photo of her, but I took my reference from a photo of her with a fan, found at this person's flickr. She originates from Nova Scotia and currently lives in... Toronto? I think? anyway. she's a pretty cute person, it seems.
