my favorite is the "surprised" fish in the background. they've been there almost from the beginning, growing gradually more interested in the proceedings.

I was going to continue with the fight but it just wasnt happening the way I wanted, so I'll pick it back up next week.

leaving for st john's, reunion, pasadena, reunion, and then home, in that order, starting tomorrow. unsure of how I will be updating, but I'll try to keep up anyway! may end up putting photos up instead or something for a couple of days. we'll see.

how does one go about getting ideas? being inspired? this is a big problem for me. I guess I need to experience more. I've felt pretty numb lately, and I havent been very sucessful in pushing myself out of it. that is probably where my problem lies.

I didnt even turn my computer on till 11 tonight. couldnt think of much to draw, so I drew what I usually do when I'm feeling blank.

Work is tiring. I wasnt up for anything too involved tonight, so you get cartoony faces. these feel kinda anime-ish. hrm. anyway, fun trying to get the right emotions to come through in a cartoony face. I'm not always so good at it.

Monday once again.

so I drew two things today. First I spent a bunch of time drawing a group of old friends from highschool because I saw one the other day and another started talking to me on IM tonight. They are all among The Coolest of Dudes. Then I felt really self conscious about showing that on this blog so I drew me with lazer eyes. Now that self consciousness seems silly so I will post them both. If asked, I will take the cool dudes image down, but hopefully it's not THAT off the mark in likeness. or whatever. That's Steve, Chris, and Andrew, by the by.

highschool, but having those three in the same place was always pretty fun.
