just screwin' around! I needed to warm up a bit before I could draw properly.

Birthday!!

My older brother celebrated a birthday on Saturday. This is my card for him since he lives far away!

I tried to make it look like him, it sort of does? Aaron, you're hard to draw! anyway he's a really great artist also. He hasn't been puting things online much since he's in Mexico with better things to do, but you can still find some of his art and illustrations at http://steel-eyes.deviantart.com/.

So it's been a few months. if I start apologising then I'll just start feeling guilty, and I won't have that on my blog because that will just make me put off posting even more!

So instead of that, I'll just pick myself up and start again. Sound good?

I'm thinking I'll make a post about once a week. if it's more often than that, so be it, but once a week should be the minimum for productivity's sake.

Anyway, FYI, I've posted a couple of times over on "The Place To Be" which is a fun little themed art blog my friends put together. If anyone's interested, it's open to whomever would like to participate. It's a free week right now, so it's the perfect time to introduce yourself if you'd like to join in. ;)

here is some stuff I doodled.

today was my birthday! it went pretty well, I did a few things I like doing and overall it was pretty quiet. I'll get some more presents when I fly home on sunday, yay!

I might do a drawing or two over the weekend since I am going to be leaving my tablet behind, so I may post a few times over the next few weeks. however, I'll be taking my official break on this blog after tonight!

hopefully I can come up with a few plans over christmas for how I'd like to proceed.

so when I was a kid we'd climb up on the netting in the soccer net at the park. there was a guy who sometimes yelled at us to get down and not do that, but we went back up there when he left.

it was FUN. man was it fun.
