I'm gonna venture a guess and say that nobody decided to try out Tegaki E based on my last post. ah well, it's not for everyone. while I'm working on my laptop which has linux on it, I find it easier to use the browser based flash app than actually trying to figure out The Gimp. I guess I'm lazy or something. :(
anyway, I am studying for my HAM license exam that's on saturday morning! wish me luck!
I haven't yet, but I haven't done much computer based imaging in a while Don't have any imaging software of my laptop, not even photoshop. It seems like a conscious decision though I don't know why.

I was going to try it once I got some portfolio stuffs out of the way! It looks neat, and I checked it out TWICE! So I will, just maybe not til January 5th or so... haha!

ReplyDeleteRocket Science is easier than figuring out The Gimp. You can do nice stuff with it once you learn it, but learning it is like the equivalent of a 4 year University Degree. :/

ReplyDelete@Jon- if you're trying to keep your artmaking process outside of your computerbox, you're smarter than I. I don't think it would be a stretch to say I'm a bit addicted to my computer, and it's the most distracting thing I can think of to try to do artwork on. there's no real separating your art from everything else you do on a computer...
@Krystin- the HAM license is so I can talk to people using a HAM radio and an antenna. :B it's a super dorky thing I decided to try with my boyfriend and I think it'll be exciting to talk to people from all over! woo.
@Jill- I should lend you my Phoenix Wright games so you can go draw dorky fanart with me on Tegaki. definitely the lamest thing I've done in a while. I can't help it! such a good series!
@Dmac- I usually just get frustrated looking for one tool and give up. :/ I think things would go more smoothly if I just figured out where the most important tools are. maybe that's what I'll do all christmas when I'm home without my tablet. :/
