Mondayyyyyy

I was touching up and resizing stuff. yep! drawdrawdraw.

guys, if you wouldnt mind, I'd really like to hear your opinions on something. I'm trying to pick out a few of my better blog posts to print off and keep a hard copy of, for portfolio purposes. if you could point out a good drawing or maybe your favorite, or just one that you think shows some skill, I'd really really appreciate it. your eyes are different from my eyes!

  1. I like the perspective.

    birdy.

    This has obvious potential.

    Good emotion in them.

What ever happened to the famous Canadians?

    For variety

    Augh, she's got me

You know, it's becoming obvious to me that when you have a strong sense of what to draw and have time, it comes out really well. I could definitely choose more, and I feel like you could pick one for every week. I'm afraid to choose anymore because I have no idea what people are looking for in a portfolio, but I hope this helps anyway.

  2. I don't know what people are looking for either! I figure I'll pick out a bunch and decide on a couple from each "group". like portraits, things that show an environment, things that are really detailed, colour work, animals, blah blah.
the ones you picked were different from my list, and so were the ones another friend of mine listed in an email! my boyfriend even suggested I include some of the quicker doodle-y ones. so I'll touch them all up and then have a good few to choose from. :)

thaaaaank youuuuuuu. I really do appreciate it.

  3. The "I like the perspective." link and the "Augh, she's got me" link are both probably my favorites. If you don't have too much clutter in that portfolio, I'd add all of those. The John Candy one is pretty good too.
