Wednesday

I havent been thinking much about artmaking the last couple of weeks. I think it's mostly from trying to adjust to working again. it'll come back, I think. doing daily drawings helps. the shame of putting so little effort into a drawing one day pushes me to do a better one the following day. or the shame of several days built up. ahem. my art peeps may or may not know what I'm talking about.

Monday

Monday once again.

so I drew two things today. First I spent a bunch of time drawing a group of old friends from highschool because I saw one the other day and another started talking to me on IM tonight. They are all among The Coolest of Dudes. Then I felt really self conscious about showing that on this blog so I drew me with lazer eyes. Now that self consciousness seems silly so I will post them both. If asked, I will take the cool dudes image down, but hopefully it's not THAT off the mark in likeness. or whatever. That's Steve, Chris, and Andrew, by the by.

highschool, but having those three in the same place was always pretty fun.

Monday again

I thought I'd go back over a recent drawing to put in some detail. it's alright I guess.

this is my 80th post, only 20 more to go and I'll be at my 100th! pretty neat. this is definitely the most updated account with anything that I've ever had. although I'm clipping along with Twitter also. wheee computers.

Thursday

So this is the second thursday that Canadian Portrait Thursday completely slipped my mind until I was just about done the drawing. This is the second digital drawing since I announced I was going to do some paper drawings for a while.

luckily this is MY BLOG and I can do what I want on here without apologising. ;D

also, this may be an alien. or an alien transvestite. maybe? very fashonable, whatever it is.

Wednesday

space cliche, wheee. I like the ship's sparklies.

I think I'm going to have to put more effort into a few of these soon. maybe I will spend a whole week working on one image sometime soon.
