Today's images are inspired by @Tomcochrane's query as to whether there are any t-shirts around with Danny Williams (the priemier of Newfoundland and Labrador) done up like Che Guevara. Thought I'd take a crack at it, anyway. This is about as close as I can get without heading on in to Illustrator or somesuch program.

A wee bit late. I love these colours. I used to buy paper in that colour for printing and drawing all the time at Grenfell. It was so expensive but so worth it.... also I made muffins and cookies today. Someone should employ me, okay? okay.

Bonus: I thought the low quality gif image was pretty neat. the eyelashes look pretty in it. (: me and gif is like dis " . sistas.

I am not happy with the girl but it was because I was messing around with different kinds of shading. oh well. I like the background. the end. sleep now.

I don't tend to spend this much time on small details, but he sure as hell did. learning quite a bit indeed. but that was the point.

My drawing today sucked and didnt get finished. This is something else I started a while ago. Maybe I will finish the other one another day. and also the portrait one from yesterday. and a bunch of other drawings. 

Pirates are da bomb.

Also, I realize the sails are not at all accurate, but I was just trying to get something out without losing myself by researching for images. I may re-do this sometime, and then I'll get the sails right.

Motivation Blogging

I've been having some trouble getting my act together, so I am starting this blog to motivate me to create one publishable drawing per day for a while. I might take weekends off. We'll see. That would help me to make up for the days when nothing really seems to be "publishable", per say. 

Today I started working on what I wanted to be fan art, but didn't turn out looking much like the character. ah well. Here she is.
